從第一次聽到這首歌 就能感覺出這首歌的背後一定有著很令人傷心的故事... 以下為這首歌背後的故事...

有對年輕的男女朋友 意外之中 女方懷孕了

正當兩方都感到幸福 並決定從此安定下來時 他們面臨到了最殘酷的問題- 他們沒有足夠的錢

由於兩方都很年輕 沒什麼儲蓄

在討論後 決定墮胎

手術很成功 一開始雙方如釋負重 鬆了一口氣

但在手術結束後 幾個禮拜 幾個月後

他們卻開始感到一種強烈的悲傷 一種失落 和罪惡感

他們試了所有方法 就是沒辦法擺脫、忘卻

這些感覺把他們逼得快瘋了

爭吵、受傷、空虛

於是他們去請教了心理諮商師

在和諮商師聊完後 他們做了以下這三件事:

1.為那還沒出世的孩子 辦了一個喪禮

2.為她立了一塊墓碑

3.將她命名為...Lucy

並常常到她的墓 放上玫瑰 來惦念這無法出世的孩子
