「堅持並盼著 我們能在結局來臨之時，找到歸來的路途」

幾個月前第一次聽到這首歌，就深陷其中

憂鬱，近似懷念情感的男聲、差點喧賓奪主，卻是整首精隨的女聲、以及最後的亮點薩克斯風

把滿滿的情緒毫無保留地展現了出來，令人久久無法自已。

1 Hold on and hope that we'll find our way back in the end / 堅持並盼著 我們能在結局來臨之時，找到歸來的路途

這句暗指的是，兩人都盼望著無論中間有多少波瀾，最終他們仍會重聚並走向美好的結局

剛認識這首歌時，看到許多留言說 Carly(女生) 的部分是他們一直聽這首歌的原因

而YT的重複播放次數部分也超明顯的在Carly進來的地方有超高的重複播放次數

一開始我無法理解，因為我覺得Carly的聲音在這首歌中有些許的違和感（把Matty前半段的深情回憶的聲音，突然轉變成鬼魅一般的呢喃）

但聽多次以後才慢慢理解，Carly唱的部分根本是這首歌的靈魂

她一進來便把這首歌的情緒從「或許我是自己在想妳吧」拉上「我其實也想著你」的層次

雙方都沒有說破，但一切的情緒都在這音樂之中毫無保留地爆炸了出來

於是再看一次Carly唱的那兩句：

"There was something about you that now I can't remember
現在我已無法記起那件 關於你的事情

It's the same damn thing that made my heart surrender
就是那曾經 讓我對你傾心不已的該死的事"

一切都合理了起來

搭上前面Carly的合聲："Don't let go"

可以說是個非常美麗的安排...

將近兩年沒有翻譯，實情卻不是不想寫，甚至有一整列的口袋名單等著我完成

但喪失了寫作能力的我，只能看著這些想和大家分享的情緒，一點一滴的湧現、再流走。

希望我今年至少可以再多分享2首歌就好...
